Partners
Two international donors, GTZ and the World Bank, and the Government of Mauritania have partnered to implement the TFT. They are jointly responsible for the implementation. GTZ and World Bank provide support - material and otherwise - given their specific expertise and role (see also Section About).
Partner staff members appointed as Task Team Leader(s) and/or contact person(s) to TFT, together with a representative of the Norwegian consultancy firm Supras Consult, constitute TFT's Task Team. As the TFT unfolds other partners may be identified.
Another key element of TFT's administrative set-up is the Advisory Committee. Furthermore, a number of individuals and organizations are recognized as collaborators and supporters.
The details of this partnership is laid down in a Memorandum of Understanding that has been signed by the Partners. Furthermore, the Mauritanian Government has formally approved the project. These and other relevant documents are available in Section Staff work area.
