Professional profile: Lars is trained as an anthropologist. He works on social and institutional analyses in natural resource mgmt., democratization, governance, inclusion, institution building, knowledge mgmt., legal reform, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic communication. His theoretical and applied interests in development cooperation are in the areas of agriculture, coastal zone mgmt., common property resource mgmt., CBNRM, fisheries, ICTs and development, minority-majority ethnic group relations, participatory approaches, rangeland mgmt., social assessment, and training and capacity-building. Lars is Founder and Coordinator, the Community-Based Natural Resource Management Network (CBNRM Net), a global community of practice. He is also Board Chairperson of Forum South, a regional network of organizations and institutions in southern Norway that work on North-South issues, humanitarian relief and development cooperation. Former employers include Rural and Health Development Center Foundation (a Bangladeshi NGO), Sida, University of Zurich and World Bank. He has consulted widely for, among others, DFID, Dutch Aid, GEF, Govt. of Norway, GIZ, IFAD, IFC, ILO, Innovation Norway, Norad, Sida, UNDP, UNOPS, USAID, World Bank, as well as private sector firms and NGOs.

Professional profile: PhD in Economics (Varna University of Economics, Bulgaria). MS in Management and marketing (focus on management of protected areas) (Varna University of Economics, Bulgaria). She is Chief Asst. Professor, Dept. of Economics, Varna University of Economics, Bulgaria. Earlier positions include Public Relations Officer for the Bulgarian-Swiss Biodiversity Conservation Programme. She has worked on CSR, corporate governance problems and business-society relations since 2003. She has conducted empirical studies in these fields, and has published in international and Bulgarian scientific and popular journals and magazines. In 2004, as an Erasmus-Socrates scholar at the University of Mannheim, Germany, she worked on CSR and corporate governance issues. In 2008, in the context of the Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility Project, she lectured at the University of Zittau, Germany, on trends in CSR and business ethics in Europe. She has worked as a volunteer with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds.

Professional profile: Education: Child welfare and development work. Worked as Ecumenical Accompanier, the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), World Council of Churches (WCC) in Palestine (West Bank) in 2008 (the Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) coordinates the programme for Norway). She is a Consultant/Leader to CISV Norway, and has participated in CISV camps in several countries (Argentina, Ecuador, Japan and USA). Board Member, the Community-Based Natural Resource Management Network (CBNRM Net). Active in Forum South. She is also involved with a new organization, RE:ACT, that has a focus on world poverty.
